Seminars are held outside the city, where the participants live; it is important that participants do not rush home or be distracted by household items; it is under such conditions that the necessary atmosphere of trust, mutual assistance and exchange of personal experience can be created.

The Parents for Parents program is a program that accompanies a family with a child with a disability throughout his or her life.
The "Parents for Parents" team consists of experienced mothers who have managed to accept their child and specialists (psychologist, psychotherapist).
This is a successful model of cooperation between a specialist and an experienced mother. An experienced mother shares her own experience, and the specialist confirms it with professional knowledge.

Criteria for selection of participants
Criteria for selecting participants for seminars and summer camps: families from different cities of Ukraine where there is a child with a disability. We cooperate with various public organizations and rehabilitation centers of Ukraine. First of all, we pay attention to families where the child does not have the opportunity to regularly attend the center, school or other institution and families living in cities that were not previously covered by the Parents for Parents Program, as well as parent leaders, who will be able to organize similar events in their city in the future.

HOUSE OF INDEPENDENT LIVING
The work of the center:
The center works in 2 stages:
1) seminars for employees, parents and clients;
2) transit accommodation.
Simultaneously, the training can be held by 2 people with disabilities in wheelchairs for a period of 2, 5 months (3 courses) . For a year - 12 people . Works in parallel with parents / guardians. Employees, clients and parents are supervised by psychotherapists.
